Marking International Women’s Day

McLaren marked International Women’s Day not only with a series of talks and networking events at McLaren Technology Centre, but at our McLaren Applied offices in Singapore. Our people shared stories and created a ‘wall of inspiration’ filled with the names of women past and present that have encouraged and inspired us. 

International Women’s Day is an opportunity not only to acknowledge the women that help McLaren thrive, but also send a strong message of encouragement that sport and the technology industry are places where women can pursue fulfilling careers. 

We sat down with just some of the many driven women here at McLaren to find out why they work for us, and what is important to them in their working lives and careers.

Our work in this area didn’t start on International Women’s Day and it won’t stop tomorrow. However, on that important day, we take stock of our progress and reinforce our cultural commitment to promote and embed diversity at McLaren.
